I've actually read the entire series with a few friends. This series is almost completely terrible. It's only saving graces are that it's instructional in how not to write a story, and that it's absolutely hilarious to read with your friends.

The writing, and flow of the story, as well as the complete lack of character development (minus one character: not the main character, I might add) make me completely devoid of any care whatsoever for the story, or the fate of the characters in it. Seven conflict events (which are all supposed to be major plot points) occur within the space of three weeks, and somehow still manage not to affect the story. I'm constantly confused as to the ages of the characters. The werewolf pack which houses the main characters is said to be a large, kinda famous pack. You would suppose there would be multiple ages in such a pack. The author never tells us the age of any of the characters, and constantly causes confusion on the subject. Every single one of the characters in this pack come off as being a teenager, or at the very most, in their early twenties. At one point, it's flippantly mentioned that the lead male character owns his own computer company, so we must assume that he either inherited said company, or worked for it. His family is never described as doing anything other than werewolf business, so we assume he worked for it. That takes awhile, so he must be in at least his mid-twenties, however this is contradicted by his mannerisms, actions, and speech patterns. The main character is described as having a Mother constantly pressuring her to marry, and saying things like she's going to be an "old maid." This leads us to believe she's somewhere in her twenties. Contradicting this, is, again, her mannerisms, actions, speech patterns, and described history. By the way the book reads, both the lead female and male character both come off as being maybe 16 or 17 years old. In the beginning of the first book, three of my friends and I assumed from the way one of the characters is described, that she was twelve. After she dies, we find she must have been around the same age as the main character (whatever age that is). The entire time I'm reading the books, I'm left wondering if the author is a teenager, or a 40-year-old. Nothing against either, but it's seriously confusing, and you'll see what I mean if you read the books. The writing style flip-flops between a mature voice narrating, and a pubescent teen writing a fanfiction.

Synopsis of the entire series: Something bad happens to strong independent weregirl who can't defend herself. Love interest drops everything to coddle her. Sweaty kissing and a brief (and I mean brief) period of pseudo-peace. Then something bad happens to strong independent weregirl who can't defend herself. Over, and over.

Overall, there's almost a complete lack of characterization and development, the plot doesn't really go anywhere, Deus ex Machina is definitely a lean-on, and the flow of the story is very choppy. I honestly wonder how many of the people giving 3 ,4,and 5 star reviews are personal friends or family (or maybe even paid people) of the author. All of this being said, I do recommend reading the first book (it's entertaining to a degree, and you'll learn a lot), unless you are a completionist-type reader (you really don't want to waste your money on this series).

First time I read Belinda Boring was last year, when she debuted with her novella, Without Mercy and I fell in love with her style of writing as well as her characters. So when she asked me to review Forget Me Not I accepted immediately.

So before starting Forget Me Not, I decided to read Mystic Wolves first(which is the combination of the first two novella's I read previously.) . I quickly read it, and then moved on to Forget Me Not . Let me just say, she did it again!! I was on a roller coaster of emotions with this book. She made me laugh, angry(that's an understatement there) and in shock . And those kisses, let me say this book is full of hot steamy kisses. I will also say I certainly can relate to Darcy's frustration.

Revisiting Darcy and Mason was like visiting family you haven't seen in awhile, it was pure joy. I was also so happy to see Daniel and Devilin as well. I seriously hope she gives them each a book because I absolutely love the both of them. I also wouldn't mind a book with Zane and Vivian . I'm not asking for much am I ? Oh and I can't forget Vlad, in the first book I wasn't sure how I felt about him but in this one we got to see more of him and his personality, he is truly a fun character I want to read more of.

Now we are to the villain of this story, Belinda did a wonderful job with this character, because even though I knew this person was evil , she had me questioning a time or two maybe not so bad after all. I hated this person then I was so so then back to hate.

Last but certainly not least, the ending... Why?? Why did she have to leave it like that? I can't say I hate cliffhangers but I can't say I love them either and this one was a big one. My jaw dropped and I practically screamed at my ... NO!

Overall, this is a fantastic continuation of this series , now I have to wait for the next book, Testing Fate. Which I think I read will be in December if all goes right. I wish it was sooner because I don't know if I can wait that long.

If you haven't read this series, you should in fact go do it now. It will suck you in and not let you go until the very last page. Well worth the time , lack of sleep and money.
